The worst creator DLC so for. Compared to GM or SOG, this DLC is another level. Only the map is made well.
OdpovedaťOdstrániťTo the developers: Just read the steam reviews and you will see what the community thinks.
And take a look at the other 2 creator DLCs.
Okay with the first comment and one more thing: you could also make the effort to translate the czech to english commentary buttons on this site, unless you want to avoid comments, of course .. .
OdpovedaťOdstrániťYeah, maybe they have seen the steam reviews and overall what the community thinks about this DLC and are shocked and now didnt want that people comment on their webside...
OdstrániťThe map is great
OdpovedaťOdstrániťthere are some vehicles that have never been in arma 3 yet.
i had some pretty high hopes for this cDLC i was a bit let down though
i still like the cDLC though and i sure am going to play it
Thank you. Along as we are working on fixes and improvements, of course additional free contents will came. We never leave our units behind the enemy lines alone after the first release. ;)
OdstrániťNice to hear so the low-res vehicle and uniforms are just placeholders and will be replaced in the future?
OdstrániťIt is a pity that there is no real single player campaign like in ČSLA Mod for Arma 2. Good luck with further work, because beautiful Gabreta deserves more ;)
OdpovedaťOdstrániťThank you. Campaign has been removed from beta from various reasons. But ... just wait a little bit more ;)
OdstrániťWell, this DLC needs really to be reworked. There are a lot of negative reviews abaout this DLC on steam, but they are right. It wouldnt be a problem if it would be a free mod. But this is a PAID DLC. Although its less than GM or SOG (only around 12$, while the other CDLCs are around 20-30$ depending if theres a steam sale) the lower price is not an excuse for so many low quality assets. Some of the vehicles and the map are quite good, but the rest is... to say it that way "acceptable" or "Arma 2 level". Many vehicles have blurry textures and wired physics and really look like just ported over. Just take a look at the An2 or UH60 and compare them to the helicopters and planes from GM or SOG. Thats also the problem for many other vehicles (like the Humvee).
OdpovedaťOdstrániťThen the uniforms. Arma 3 is mainly a infantry game were you play most of the time in first person and you basically look at the uniforms and gear most of the time. Low-res textures and bad models are here even more a problem than on vehicles. If a car or truck wich is only used rare in a normal gameplay/ scenario dosent have a high quality model, that would be acceptable, as long as the gear and uniforms, weapons etc. look and sound realistic. But thats not the case.
The weapons arent that bad. The uniforms are another story.
If you look at them, you can really see that the base mesh of most uniforms is from Arma 2 models imported and just retextured (police officer uniform from arma 2 for example). The civilian uniforms are even just imported from arma 2 and just look the same like the ones in CUP or other conversion mods. Thats really a no-go for a CDLC. If I pay for a DLC, I expect new content and up to date models, not just converted stuff.
I hope that there will be new vehicle and uniform models in future updates, just with the quality like GM or SOG.
